So C-C-Cold

Holy cow, it’s freezing in my house!

So here’s what happened, our propane tanks ran out yesterday and since its the middle of winter here in California, and it may not be as cold as other parts of the U.S for us here its frostbite season.

We will, of course, get them refilled shortly, but in the meantime, its all about socks and sweaters and warm blankets.

Thank goodness for hot coffee, am I right?

With four kids ages ranging from 3 years old to 13, it can be more than a little challenging to convince them how to ration, especially something that they can’t see like propane.

Things get left on or taken for granted until, oops, sorry mom, we’re out. Bwahaha, you’re the ones who are going to feel it in the morning, is what I told them. They are feeling it now.

Well there it is, mini-rant over, hope you’re all having a great day.

I enjoy creating and writing fantasys, turning them into full fledged novels inbetween helping my kids with home work and chasing after my three year old, almost four now. I love the rain, the sound and smell as it patters against the roof of my house. I love helping animals although I'm not a foster dog or cat mom as I would never have the heart to rehome them. I have an Emotional Support Dog, a queensland heeler who resembles a potato more than a dog and two cats, one for my oldest and one for the rest of them. I am the slave of two green cheek conures who keep me distracted and make it difficult to get anything done. I manage in my own little way to keep chugging along. There always seems to be more madness than method to go around.
